The call worth making before winter
Heating systems do not usually fail without warning. They degrade quietly over several seasons, in places a homeowner never looks, and then give out on the coldest night of the year — the same night every other marginal system in the region gives out, when service is hardest to get.
An inspection in early fall interrupts that. It finds the worn component while it is still a scheduling question rather than an emergency. Most manufacturers recommend professional service annually, and many warranties expect it to have happened.

Residential heating repair, gas furnace and gas boiler repair, maintenance and replacement, air conditioning repair, AC installation and replacement, cooling maintenance, heat pumps, water heater repair and replacement, year-round HVAC preventive maintenance, indoor air quality and energy-efficiency improvements including smart thermostats. We do not work on oil-fired equipment.
Do you work on homes or commercial buildings?
Residential only. Homes are what we know best, and we would rather do that well than stretch into commercial work, which is a different discipline with different equipment and requirements.

A service call during regular business hours is $99, and it is applied toward the repair if you go ahead. After-hours calls are available at a higher rate.
What should I do first if my heat or air conditioning stops working?
Check four things before calling anyone: that the thermostat is set correctly and has fresh batteries, that the circuit breaker has not tripped, that the service switch near the equipment is on, and that the air filter is not severely clogged. Those resolve a meaningful share of calls. If all four check out, that is the point to contact us rather than keep troubleshooting.
